Wreath Gift Card Holder

In preparing for wrapping up my Christmas gifts, I made two gift card holders.....and I really wish I would have made a couple more!

The image is from The Stamps of Life stamp set 'Wreath4Me' as well as the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment.
I used copic markers to color in the image using the outline method instead of blending it in a lot!

The card itself was cut using my Cricut and SCAL.
I added some sparkle to the berries using Stickles.

Here is the card with an iTunes gift card (I used it as an example.  This card is used...LOL!  iTunes gift cards don't fit as nicely, they are a little smaller then regular store gift cards.)   I already used these two gift card holders and wrapped them inside a box.  :)

I hope you like it!

'For All You Do' Card

Hi All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

I was able to get a card made in all the busyness of this past weekend.  With the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, November and December are usually two busy months for everyone.  I hope we all can take a moment and allow ourselves to slow down a bit and of course....GET CRAFTY!!

So here is my a simple card that I made.

I used 'The Stamps of Life' ~ Fancy Label die to cut the dark blue and white card stock for my flowers and sentiment.

The flower I stamped with the 'Stampin' Up!' ~ Greenhouse Garden Flower stamp set and I used the SU's Close to Cocoa and Real Red inks.

The sentiment is from 'Stampin' Up!' ~ For All You Do stamp set and I used their Not Quite Navy ink.

I didn't have anyone in mind when making this card.  I really just wanted to use the flower stamp set because of the layering of the stamps.

Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Card

Today's Monday Project is a Birthday Card.

For the balloons I used The Stamps Of Life 'HappyBday2You' set.  I colored the stamps with Marvy LePlume II marker in Bubble Gum Pink.  I used the markers because it seemed to grab the color better than the ink pads I was using.

I used the same stamp set to stamp the 'just for you' sentiment' and then punched it with an EK success punch that I have in my stash.

I also stamped the cupcake and candle from the same stamp set.  This time I stamped the frosting part of the cupcake on polka dotted paper and used stickles on each dot as well as the flame on the candle to give it some sparkle.  I colored in the bottom part of the cupcake using my copic markers.

Since the sentiment 'just for you' was small, I used my 'Happy Birthday' embossing folder to emboss the background.

Inside the card was stamped 'Happy Birthday'.

I hope you like my card.

Thanksgiving Wreath

Happy Monday All!

My project for today is a Thanksgiving Wreath.  I know we still have over a month to go but I already have this in my house.  (I am not a Halloween person myself.....but I love love love Fall and Thanksgiving!)

I used my Cricut to cut out the donut shaped circle on brown textured cardstock.

The Scarecrow, crow, leaves, acorns and pumpkin are from 'We R Memory Keeprs' Embossible Designs - Fall Harvest page.  All the elements you just pop out of the page.  (I absolutely loved the cute scarecrow so I had to buy it and do a project with it!)

I then just layed everything out where I wanted it and adhered it with pop dots.

I cut the 'Happy Thanksgiving w/pumpkin' from an SVG file I had from SVG Cuts.

I used an Cuttlebug embossing folder (distressed stripes) to give this pumpkin some texture.

This was a super easy project.  But I loved the results.

And here is that cute scarecrow saying "Hope you like this project!"  :)

Hello Divas and Welcome. I am Jessica :O)

Hello Divas, Jessica here in the Buckeye State.  I will be heading up the Home Decor/Gift Ideas Group here at Creative Scrapbooking Divas.  My first project is going to be posted on Monday, July 11th, so be sure to mark your calendars to join in on the fun.  I will be alternating with DT Yolie every other Monday.  She will be posting about Scrapbooking Techniques and Projects, and I will work on new projects for Home Decor/Gift Ideas.

I started following the CSDivas about 6 months ago, before the transition to blogger, and I feel quite blessed to have made a lot of friends along the way and gain some wonderful inspiration in the process.  I am BEYOND excited to join the CSDivas as they make the transition to Blogger.  I am in a place where words are difficult to express the true meaning of how I feel to have been chosen to join their Design Team.  This will be my very first DT position since starting my blog at the beginning of the year.  The Divas have been warm and inviting, generous in the support and ideas, and overall, I have felt like I gained a second family!

I have always loved the Arts and I am no stranger to paper crafting since it has served as a constant in my life over the last few years.  I enjoy working on creating wreaths, painting pictures, wood crafts, and altering an item into a masterpiece.  Definition of masterpiece ~ anything that can be seen with the eyes, admired, and enjoyed.   I am fortunate enough to have found and fallen madly in love with my soul mate, Lance.  I am also blessed to be able to stay at home with my 5 lovely children whose ages range from 16 months to almost 16 years old.  I love the color purple, all types of music, and strive to make people smile!  A few of my favorite life mottos are "Laughter is Good Medicine", "No questions is a dumb question", and "Don't forget, Karma bites".  So to sum it up, "Live by the Golden Rule, ask lots of questions along the way, while laughing whenever possible!"

Below are a some of my own personal favorite projects that I have.  I will add a link to the original blog post highlighting the steps I followed (if applicable) to complete each project.

I can't wait to meet many more friends and gain even more inspiration from new and past followers!  :O)
Please feel free to visit my personal blog at Jessica's Craft Shaque.
